Privacy Policy
Last Updated: October 2026
Introduction and Scope
Metro Express Car Wash Holdings LLC and WFM Enterprises LLC, and their respective subsidiaries and affiliates, collectively referred to in this Privacy Policy as “Metro Express,” “Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us,” provide this Privacy Policy to describe how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and otherwise process personal information in connection with our website at https://www.metroexpresscarwash.com/, our car wash retail, prepaid, and membership services, our online and in-location transactions, and related customer services (collectively, the “Services”).
This Privacy Policy applies to personal information we process when you access or use our Services, create or use an account, purchase a car wash, enroll in or manage a membership or prepaid plan, interact with us online or at our locations, receive communications from us, or otherwise engage with our business.
This Privacy Policy is intended to describe our current privacy practices in the states where we currently operate, including Washington, Idaho, and Montana. If our operations, legal obligations, or privacy practices materially change, including in connection with expansion into additional states, we will update this Privacy Policy as appropriate.
When you enroll in a membership, prepaid plan, or account, we may ask you to review or acknowledge this Privacy Policy as part of the enrollment process.
By “personal information,” we mean information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular individual or household.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to information collected through websites, services, or applications that maintain their own separate privacy policies and do not link to this Privacy Policy. It also does not apply to de-identified or aggregated information that cannot reasonably be used to identify an individual.
Notice at Our Locations
We may provide additional privacy notices at our locations, including on signs, kiosks, receipts, enrollment flows, or other customer-facing materials. These notices may describe our use of license plate recognition, point-of-sale systems, and other in-location technologies and may direct you to this Privacy Policy by URL, QR code, printed copy, or other reasonable method.

We do not intend to collect protected-class information, biometric information, user-generated content made available to other users, or precise GPS location information through the Services unless we provide a separate notice or obtain any required consent. If we offer a discount or promotion based on military, veteran, or similar status, we may process information you choose to provide for that purpose, but we do not intend to collect formal documentation of that status unless we provide additional notice or request it as part of the applicable program.
We may use license plate recognition technology at Metro Express locations to identify member vehicles, administer memberships, process car wash access, support transactions, detect and resolve account or gate-access issues, and understand car wash usage. We may also capture license plate information from non-member vehicles that enter our locations for internal reporting and business analytics, such as understanding visit frequency and evaluating whether membership options may be relevant to customers. We collect this information at our private-property car wash locations and do not collect license plate information from public streets.
Sources of Personal Information
We collect personal information directly from you. For example, we collect information when you create an account, purchase a car wash, enroll in a membership or prepaid plan, submit a form, contact us, participate in a survey, sweepstakes, promotion, or contest, sign up for communications, or otherwise interact with our Services.
We also collect personal information automatically from your browser, device, and interactions with our website and online services. For example, we may collect device, usage, cookie, traffic, and advertising identifier information when you access or use our website or interact with our online advertisements.
We may also receive information generated through your transactions and interactions at our locations, including information processed through offline payment or point-of-sale devices, license plate recognition systems, and information associated with membership or car wash usage. For non-members, we currently use license plate information for internal reporting and business analytics and do not currently use DMV data or other third-party databases to identify or contact non-members based on their license plates unless we provide any additional notice and obtain any consent required by law.
How We Use Personal Information
We use personal information to provide, operate, support, personalize, and develop our Services, including our website, customer accounts, prepaid sales, membership sales, and car wash retail services.
We use personal information to create, maintain, customize, authenticate, and secure customer accounts, including member or customer-only sections of our website or services.
We use personal information to process requests, purchases, transactions, payments, subscriptions, memberships, and refunds, and to provide confirmations, receipts, billing communications, membership notices, expiration notices, renewal notices, and related service communications.
We use license plate and car wash usage information to administer member access, map existing RFID accounts to license plates, understand visit frequency, evaluate customer and membership trends, and communicate with members or former members using contact information already associated with their accounts. If we later use third-party data sources to associate non-member license plate information with identifiable individuals or contact information, we will update our notices and consent processes as required before doing so.
We use personal information to help prevent, detect, investigate, and address transactional fraud, unauthorized activity, security incidents, and other potentially harmful, unlawful, or unauthorized conduct.
We use personal information to provide customer support, respond to inquiries, investigate and address customer concerns, and monitor and improve our responses.
We use personal information to send newsletters and similar communications, including non-advertising communications related to our Services.
We use personal information to administer surveys, sweepstakes, promotions, contests, and similar programs.
We use personal information to market and advertise our products and services and, where applicable, products and services offered by our affiliates, consistent with your preferences and applicable law.
We use personal information for interest-based advertising, behavioral advertising, targeted advertising, retargeting, advertising measurement, audience development, and related marketing activities, subject to your rights and choices described in this Privacy Policy.
We use personal information to analyze and improve our Services, understand trends, conduct internal testing, research and analysis, develop and improve our website, services, products, customer experience, and membership offerings, understand visit frequency and customer usage patterns, and demonstrate our products or services.
We use personal information to help maintain the safety, security, and integrity of our business, website, products, services, databases, technology assets, accounts, transactions, and locations.
We use personal information to comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, and government requests.
We use personal information to enforce our terms, billing requirements, membership terms, and other agreements.
We use personal information to protect our rights, privacy, safety, property, employees, users, customers, and the public, and to defend or pursue legal claims.
We may use personal information in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, divestiture, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or other corporate transaction or negotiation.
We may use personal information for other purposes that we describe to you when we collect the information or as otherwise permitted by law.
How We Disclose Personal Information
We disclose personal information to service providers and processors that help us operate our business and provide the Services. These may include companies that assist with website hosting, payment processing, transaction processing, point-of-sale systems, license plate recognition systems, membership administration, customer support, communications, email and text messaging, marketing automation, customer engagement platforms, security, fraud prevention, data storage, and similar business functions.
Where we disclose personal information to vendors that process information on our behalf, we expect those vendors to use the information only to provide services to Metro Express and not for their own independent purposes, unless otherwise disclosed or permitted by law.
We disclose personal information to advertisers, advertising networks, and social media companies for advertising, retargeting, audience development, campaign measurement, and related marketing purposes. This may include device, usage, cookie, advertising identifier, and online interaction information.
We disclose personal information to business partners where appropriate to provide, support, promote, or improve our Services, administer promotions, or support business operations.
We disclose personal information to professional advisors, including attorneys, auditors, accountants, consultants, insurers, and other advisors in connection with the services they provide to us.
We disclose personal information to courts, law enforcement, government authorities, regulators, or other parties when required by law, in response to legal process, or when we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property, or that of our customers, employees, users, or the public.
We may disclose or transfer personal information in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar corporate transaction, including during negotiations and due diligence.
We may disclose personal information for other purposes with your consent or at your direction.
Sale, Sharing, Targeted Advertising, and Profiling
We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. We do not sell license plate information for monetary consideration and do not intend to disclose license plate information to third parties for their own independent marketing purposes. We may disclose license plate, vehicle, transaction, membership, or usage information to service providers and processors that help us provide, operate, analyze, secure, or market our Services on our behalf.
Certain U.S. state privacy laws define “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising” broadly. Under those laws, our disclosure of certain personal information to advertising networks, social media companies, or similar third parties for targeted advertising, retargeting, audience development, or advertising measurement may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information or processing for targeted advertising.
The categories of personal information that may be disclosed for targeted advertising or related advertising purposes include identifiers, contact information if used for customer-list matching or similar audience tools, device information, internet or network activity information, advertising IDs, cookie-based interaction information, and information about your interactions with our website, Services, or advertisements.
Where required by applicable law, you may opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and the processing of your personal information for targeted advertising. To exercise this right, you may contact us at info@metroexpresscarwash.com with the subject line “Privacy Choices” or call us at 208-820-2077.
We do not currently engage in automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects. If that changes, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any rights or notices required by applicable law.
Cookies, Analytics, Advertising Technologies, and Preference Signals
When you access or use our website or online Services, we and our service providers may use browser cookies to automatically collect certain information. Cookies are small data files placed on your device that allow us to recognize your browser, remember preferences, support account functionality, understand how the website is used, and collect usage information.
We may use cookies for purposes such as operating and securing our website, authenticating users, supporting account and membership functionality, remembering preferences, measuring website performance, understanding interactions with our Services, improving user experience, and supporting advertising, retargeting, and marketing activities.
Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies through your browser settings. If you block or delete cookies, some parts of our website or Services may not function properly.
We use or may use cookies, pixels, tags, analytics tools, advertising technologies, and similar technologies to support website functionality, analytics, targeted advertising, retargeting, advertising measurement, audience development, and marketing activities.
Some browsers and browser extensions support the Global Privacy Control (“GPC”) that can send a signal to process your request to opt out from certain types of data processing, including data “sales” as defined under certain laws. When we detect such a signal, we will make reasonable efforts to respect your choices indicated by a GPC setting as required by applicable law.
Your Privacy Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information. We make the privacy rights described below available to residents of states where applicable privacy law grants those rights, and we may choose to honor certain requests more broadly where appropriate and operationally feasible.
You may have the right to request that we confirm whether we process your personal information and provide access to the personal information we maintain about you.
You may have the right to request a copy of your personal information in a portable and readily usable format, to the extent technically feasible.
You may have the right to request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you, taking into account the nature of the personal information and the purposes of the processing.
You may have the right to request that we delete personal information we collected from or about you, subject to legal exceptions and our need to retain information for transaction records, membership administration, security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, and other legitimate business or legal purposes.
You may have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and the processing of personal information for targeted advertising, as described in the “Sale, Sharing, Targeted Advertising, and Profiling” section above.
You may have the right to withdraw consent where we rely on consent to process personal information, such as for certain marketing communications. Withdrawal of consent does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.
If we deny a privacy rights request, you may have the right to appeal our decision, depending on where you live and applicable law. To appeal, please contact us at info@metroexpresscarwash.com with the subject line “Privacy Rights Appeal”.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights. This means we will not deny you goods or services, charge you different prices, provide a different level or quality of goods or services, or retaliate against you because you exercised your privacy rights, except as permitted by law.
To submit a privacy rights request, you may contact us by email at info@metroexpresscarwash.com, by telephone at 208-820-2077, or by mail at PO BOX 140294, Garden City, ID 83714.
To protect your personal information, we may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a privacy rights request. Verification may require you to provide information that allows us to match you with our records, such as your email address, telephone number, account credentials, transaction details, vehicle information, license plate information, or other information reasonably necessary to verify your identity or your association with the relevant vehicle, membership, transaction, or account. We will use information provided for verification only for that purpose.
You may designate an authorized agent to submit a privacy rights request on your behalf where permitted by applicable law. We may require the agent to provide proof of authorization, and we may require you to verify your identity directly with us before we process the request.
Children and Minors
Our Services are not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information.
We do not generally ask customers to provide age or date-of-birth information unless needed for a specific service, promotion, eligibility determination, or other disclosed purpose. Because some customers may be licensed drivers under the age of 18, including individuals who are 15 or 16 years old, we may collect personal information from minors in connection with purchases, memberships, vehicle visits, license plate recognition, payments, customer support, or other ordinary interactions with our Services.
We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of individuals under 16 years of age, or process personal information of individuals under 16 for targeted advertising, where we have actual knowledge that the individual is under 16, unless permitted by applicable law and, where required, we have obtained appropriate consent. If you believe we have collected personal information from a child under 13, or if you have questions about personal information collected from a minor, please contact us at info@metroexpresscarwash.com.
Marketing Communications
We may send service-related and transactional communications, including account notices, membership notices, subscription notices, expiration and renewal notices, purchase confirmations, receipts, security alerts, customer support messages, and other non-promotional communications.
Where permitted by law and consistent with your preferences, we may send marketing and promotional emails about our products, services, memberships, promotions, and offers. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in the email or by contacting us at info@metroexpresscarwash.com. Even if you opt out of marketing emails, you may still receive transactional or service-related emails.
With your consent, we may send informational, customer-service, transactional, marketing, or promotional text messages to your mobile phone. We will request consent for marketing text messages separately from this Privacy Policy or our general terms. You may opt out of text messages by replying STOP to any message or by contacting us at info@metroexpresscarwash.com or 208-820-2077. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency may vary. Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchase.
Additional SMS program details, including whether messages are sent using an automatic telephone dialing system, applicable HELP instructions, message frequency, and the approved marketing text-message consent language, will be provided in the applicable consent flow or messaging terms.
Security
We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. We consider the nature of the information, including vehicle, license plate, account, transaction, and communications information, when designing and applying our safeguards.
No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your personal information. If you have reason to believe that your interaction with us is no longer secure, please contact us at info@metroexpresscarwash.com or 208-820-2077.
Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, provide our Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We periodically review our retention practices and delete or de-identify personal information that is no longer needed for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy or required by law.
The retention periods or criteria applicable to each category of personal information we collect are described in the table below. Where a specific retention period has not been identified, we apply the criteria listed to determine the appropriate period. The criteria we use to determine retention periods include the duration of our ongoing relationship with you, whether you maintain an active account or membership, whether retention is necessary to complete transactions or provide Services, whether retention is necessary for consent records, preference management, security, fraud prevention, internal reporting, legal obligations, legal claims, disputes, investigations, audit requirements, or statutes of limitations, and the sensitivity and nature of the personal information.
| Category of Personal Information | Retention Period or Criteria |
| Identifiers and contact information | Retained for the duration of our customer relationship and for 7 years thereafter, or as required for legal compliance, dispute resolution, or fraud prevention. |
| Account information | Retained for the duration of the active account and for 7 years after account closure or last activity. |
| Commercial and transaction information | Retained for 7 years following the transaction to fulfill legal, tax, accounting, and audit obligations. |
| Payment information | Retained only as long as necessary to process the transaction. Full payment card details are not stored by Metro Express after processing. Limited transaction records (e.g., last four digits, transaction ID) may be retained for 7 years for chargeback, refund, and dispute resolution purposes. |
| Vehicle and membership information | Retained for the duration of membership and for 3 years following membership cancellation or last visit. Non-member license plate data retained for up to 3 years for internal reporting and business analytics purposes. |
| Device, internet, and network activity information | Retained for 13 months for analytics, security, and advertising purposes. |
| Date of birth | Retained for the duration of the customer relationship or as long as needed for the specific service, promotion, or eligibility determination for which it was collected. |
| Communications information | Retained for 3 years following the interaction for customer support, dispute resolution, quality assurance, and legal compliance purposes. |
When personal information is no longer required for the purposes described above, we delete, de-identify, or aggregate it in accordance with our retention and disposal practices.
We do not intentionally collect categories of personal information that constitute “sensitive personal information” as defined under the California Privacy Rights Act for the purpose of inferring characteristics about consumers. To the extent we collect account log-in credentials with passwords, such information is retained only for the duration of the active account and subject to the retention period stated above for Account Information. If our practices change to include the collection of additional categories of sensitive personal information, we will update this section with applicable retention periods and provide any notice or obtain any consent required by applicable law.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this Privacy Policy. If we launch additional digital services, such as a mobile application, app-based account features, push notifications, or other digital functionality, we will update this Privacy Policy or provide additional notices as appropriate.
If we make material changes that significantly affect how we process personal information, we will provide notice as required by applicable law, which may include notice by email, text message, account notice, kiosk notice, in-location notice, website notice, or other reasonable method, depending on the nature of the change and our relationship with you.
We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about our privacy practices.
