What if you just washed your car at Metro Express and a couple hours later it rains? Or, you drive through a mud puddle on your way home?

For a one-time $5.00 charge, we’ll install a “Metro Tag” in your windshield which automatically gives you a 2 day “No questions asked” rewash. With this, you can wash your car on Friday, go on a trip, then we’ll rewash your car for free when you get home on Sunday.

Once you have a tag in your vehicle, each time you wash, we’ll know it’s you if you return within 2 days. This $5.00 charge is a one-time charge, and all future washes will give you rain protection with no additional charges.

How long is my Metro Express Rain Protection Plus tag good?
Your one-time $5 “Metro Tag” is good as long as it is in the window of the vehicle you purchased it for. So, it could be years! Every time you wash, we’ll automatically give you 2 days of rain protection.

Is my Rain Protection Plus tag good for more than one vehicle?
Sorry – each vehicle must have its own tag. The tags are nontransferable.

Why is the Metro Express Rain Protection Plus tag $5.00?
The small $5 fee almost covers the out-of-packet cost for the tag themselves and the programming required for each tag. We built this program because you asked for it, not because we’re making money on it.

What is this “Metro Tag”?
Our “Metro Tag” is a small radio tag installed on the windshield of your vehicle – this lets our auto-cashiers recognize your car and automatically give you special attention. When you’re taking advantage of your rain protection rewash, our machines will automatically recognize you and open the gate for you – no begging, stories or fuss needed.
